OnePlus has officially unveiled the OnePlus Watch 2, its newest smartwatch, after a series of leaks and rumours, globally at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona. The standout feature of this smartwatch is its dual OS and dual-chip architecture. The OnePlus Watch 2 will be available in India, Europe and ths US. The OnePlus Watch 2 is a flagship smartwatch and it is also powered by the latest version of Wear OS by Google (Wear OS 4).

The OnePlus Watch 2 will be available in India via Oneplus website, Oneplus store App, OnePlus Experience store, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Reliance, Croma, and other offline partner stores. The smartwatch goes on open sale beginning on March 4 at 12 pm. Available in Black Steel and Radiant Steel, the watch has been priced starting at Rs 24,999.
The company said that warranty plans and after-sales programmes and terms and conditions will vary, according to the region of purchase.

The OnePlus Watch 2 adopts the same design ethos as the OnePlus 12 series. Drawing inspiration from the iconic K-shape design of the OnePlus 12 series, the OnePlus Watch 2 has a circular watch face reminiscent of the lineup's camera module. With a 2.5D sapphire crystal cover, the OnePlus Watch 2 offers enhanced scratch resistance. Its stainless steel chassis provides additional protection against rust and corrosion. The smartwatch brings comprehensive health monitoring features including heart rate tracking, blood oxygen saturation monitoring, and stress detection, all accessible via the OnePlus O Health app. Using both Wear OS powered by the Snapdragon W5 chip and a proprietary OS based on RTOS, the watch ensures smooth operation and efficient performance. Equipped with a large 500mAh battery, it guarantees up to 100 hours of battery life in Smart mode, while in power saver mode, it extends up to 12 days of usage. With VOOC fast charging technology, the watch can provide a full day's power in just 10 minutes of charging, as stated by the company.
OnePlus has also announced that the OnePlus Watch 2 and the OHealth app are now compatible with Health Connect by Android. This feature, integrated into Android 14, serves as a central hub for managing data permissions from various health and fitness apps and devices. With permission, individuals can securely sync their health data collected through the watch or the OHealth app with other Health Connect-compatible applications, ensuring seamless integration and accessibility, the company stated.
