Vivo has finally confirmed the release date of the Vivo V30 series in India. The series will include two models — Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro, and will be released on March 7. The V30 Pro is crucial to the company as it is the first Vivo V-series smartphone to come with ZEISS enhancements which were earlier seen only on the X-series devices such as the recently launched Vivo X100 and X100 Pro. Vivo V30 Pro will be launched in Thailand a bit earlier, on February 28. Due to this launch, some of the specifications have already been confirmed.
The most crucial part about this device is, as said, onboarding ZEISS, a first for a midrange Vivo phone like this (and so, all eyes will be on how it prices the phone in India). We can expect the Vivo V30 Pro to come with both ZEISS tuning as well as ZEISS-style portrait filters, including Biotar, Sonar, Cine-flare, Cinematic, Planar, and Distagon, those we have seen only in the X-series so far.
Vivo V30 Pro Specifications (Thailand Variant)
V30 Pro is anticipated to showcase a slender and lightweight profile. It will feature a curved display, likely AMOLED, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and a centrally aligned hole punch cutout for the front camera. It will feature a camera setup of four cameras in total. The main camera sensor will be 50-megapixel. The rear side of the device will sport three cameras — wide, ultrawide, and telephoto. The front camera sensor will likely have autofocus, like previous models.
The said phone sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor with a maximum of 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging capability.
