New Delhi: The upcoming OnePlus RT smartphone has been spotted on the OnePlus Care app, further indicating that the device's launch may be just around the corner.

According to screenshots shared with 91Mobiles by tipster Mukul Sharma show the device's name is listed as OnePlus 9RT, but that is likely to change to OnePlus RT moniker soon as a previous leak suggested the name change for India market.

Earlier last week, a tip suggested that OnePlus is likely to unveil the OnePlus 9RT in India under a different name. This is more than a month after the smartphone OEM launched the device in its home turf China. The leak was again spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma on both the Google Play Listing website and Google Supported Devices List, which indicated that the device could launch with the purported name OnePlus RT in India.

"Interesting. OnePlus 9RT has been listed as OnePlus RT on the Google Supported Devices list and Google Play Console listing. The same model build has received the BIS certification in the past. #OnePlus #OnePlus9RT #OnePlusRT," the leakster had tweeted from his handle @stufflistings.

Meanwhile, OnePlus is also likely to launch the OnePlus RT alongside its new true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds, the OnePlus Buds Z2 in India. The OnePlus RT may be unveiled in two colours in India.

Both these devices from OnePlus will be launched in India in December. The OnePlus 9RT will be launched as OnePlus RT in India and it is likely to come in Hacker Black and Nano Silver colour options. The OnePlus Buds Z2, on the other hand, is reportedly going to be unveiled in Obsidian Black and Pearl White colour options.

It should be noted that the handset maker has not officially confirmed the launch of the OnePlus RT or the Buds Z2 in India. However, recently OnePlus RT Amazon India ad had surfaced on Google Search, thus, strongly indicating the device's launch in India.
