Smartphone maker OnePlus last week confirmed the launch of its first foldable flagship phone, the OnePlus Open. The foldable phone will be unveiled globally at a physical event in Mumbai on October 19. The India pricing and sale date of the OnePlus Open have leaked online ahead of the launch. According to leakster Abhishek Yadav, who goes by the name @yabhishekhd on X, formerly Twitter, the India price of the OnePlus Open will be around Rs 1,39,999. The first sale of OnePlus' first foldable phone will kick off on October 27, the tipster added.


The tipped price of the OnePlus Open is closer to the Rs 1,54,999 starting price tag of rival Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 (12GB/256GB storage model). The OnePlus Open will be launched in China with the Oppo Find N3 moniker. The company had shared the first official look of the OnePlus Open in an official teaser image provided to ABP Live last week. The OnePlus Open will compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, the Oppo Find N3 Flip and the Tecno Phantom V Flip, among others.

The latest leak quahses previous rumours that suggested that OnePlus Open will be more aggressively priced between Rs 1,00,000 to Rs 1,20,000.


Meanwhile, according to a famed Chinese tipster, the OnePlus Open is likely to get a triple rear camera setup dominated by a 48MP primary sensor and a 64MP periscope sensor.

OnePlus Open Specifications (Expected)


As per the rumour mill, the OnePlus Open is expected to sport a 7.82-inch (2,440x2,268 pixels) OLED inner screen and a 6.31-inch (1,116 x 2,484 pixels) OLED outer display, both featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device will likely be an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, coupled with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.


For imaging capabilities, the OnePlus Open is expected to boast a triple rear camera setup, dominated by a 48MP primary sensor, a 48MP secondary sensor and a 64MP sensor with a telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. The front-facing camera, likely to support selfies and video calls, is rumoured to feature a 32-megapixel or a 20-megapixel sensor.
