New Delhi: OnePlus has started to roll out the stable OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12 for OnePlus Nord users in India. This comes soon after the handset maker had announced the second beta update. The new OxygenOS 12 OTA update for OnePlus Nord brings bug fixes and features like enhanced dark mode, new visual design and OnePlus Shelf. OnePlus Nord users in Europe are also likely to get OTA the update once it is validated for them completely.
"We are excited to release OxygenOS 12, based on Android 12, to the OnePlus Nord. For those who want to understand what the new OxygenOS 12 is all about, check it out today and see for yourself. This build first rolled out to OBT users, and is now rolling out to stable branch users. The build for EU users requires additional validation steps, but it will be released as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience," Abdul B, OxygenOS Operations, Staff Member, wrote on a OnePlus forum.
The over the air (OTA) update also packs in the Android security patches for April 2022. "As always, this OTA will be incremental. The OTA will reach a small percentage of users today, and we'll begin a broader rollout in a few days," Abdul added.
