New Delhi: Fresh leaks around the OnePlus Nord 2T have surfaced and according to them the device could be the next mid-range smartphone from the house of OnePlus. Amid rumours that we could a OnePlus 10 Ultra, we are also hearing that another handset from OnePlus, the OnePlus Nord 2T could be incoming. The OnePlus Nord 2T is likely to be unveiled with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset, the media has reported. The handset is expected to be unveiled sometime next month.


Other expected specs of the OnePlus Nord 2 include support for 80W fast charging. According to a report published in Digit, one of the key highlights USPs the OnePlus Nord 2T is its support for 80W fast charging out-of-the-box. The upcoming mid-range handset may also feature a Full HD+ screen. Other expected specs of the Nord 2T may include the same 4,500 mAh battery and 6.43-inch 90Hz screen as we have seen in the OnePlus Nord 2.


Meanwhile, rumours are rife that OnePlus could be working on a premium flagship smartphone, the purported OnePlus 10 Ultra. This comes soon after the OnePlus 9RT has been unveiled in India and the OnePlus 10 Pro has also been introduced in China. The latter is said to have an underwhelming set of features. According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the teaming up between Oppo and OnePlus is in full swing and we can expect to see Oppo's proprietary MariSilicon chipset in a OnePlus flagship device in the second half of this year.


As a result of the deeper partnership between Oppo and OnePlus, which was announced last year, the flagship Oppo Find X5 got to use the HasselBlad technology from the latter. According to reports, even as the OnePlus 10 Pro features a great camera, but still it falls short of the current performance of flagship devices. It is likely that a dedicated imaging processor in the purported OnePlus 10 Ultra helps its camera compete with flagships such as the Galaxy S21 series, the Xiaomi 11 Ultra, and so on.
