New Delhi: After being launched in home turf China in October, the OnePlus 9RT is headed to India now, according to support pages that have been spotted on OnePlus India's website. The launch of the handset will likely be accompanied by new TWS buds - OnePlus Buds Z2 as its product page also went live on OnePlus' India website. However, it reads: "page is coming soon".
Initially unveiled in OnePlus' home turf China, OnePlus 9RT is a successor to the OnePlus 9R. The model will be limited to India and China markets, suggest reports.
Talking about the specs of the OnePlus Buds Z2, it has 11mm dynamic drivers and active noise cancelation (ANC) which can block up to 40dB of surrounding noises. Their combined battery life is rated at up to 38 hours. There is fast charging via USB-C.
Earlier leaks suggested that handset maker OnePlus may unveil the OnePlus 9RT in India under a different name.
According to a leak spotted on tipster Mukul Sharma on both the Google Play Listing website and Google Supported Devices List, the device could launch with the purported name OnePlus RT in India.
"Interesting. OnePlus 9RT has been listed as OnePlus RT on the Google Supported Devices list and Google Play Console listing. The same model build has received the BIS certification in the past. #OnePlus #OnePlus9RT #OnePlusRT," the leakster tweeted from his handle @stufflistings.
However, there has been no official confirmation or word from OnePlus on the launch of OnePlus RT in India so far. Previous reports suggested that the handset was likely to be launched in India in November.
The purported smartphone's specs as leaked do match those of the recent ostensible T-series replacement, an FHD+ display and an Android 11-based ROM included.
