The launch of the OnePlus 12 is expected on December 5 in China, and its global introduction slated for January 23. As excitement around the announcement of OnePlus 12 builds, several leaked details and live images about the handset have surfaced. Live images of the OnePlus 12 have surfaced both officially and through leaked tips. As per a recent update, the OnePlus 12 was seen in high-quality photos, in white and green colour models. Additionally, a third black variant is confirmed for the phone.
While all three versions are expected to be launched in the company's home turf in China, global users will have the option to choose between the black and green models only.
The OnePlus 12 has made an appearance in elegant white and green (or Flowy Emerald) colour options. These images were shared on Weibo by the company's China president, Li Jie Louis. The pictures confirm OnePlus' renewed collaboration with Swedish camera major Hasselblad, a triple rear camera arrangement and a design language that deviates slightly from the OnePlus 11.
As indicated by the images, the OnePlus 12 will offer three configurations: 16GB+512GB, 16GB+1TB, and 24GB+1TB.
Another image discloses its model number PDJ110 and features a 6.82-inch display. The device boasts a 32MP front camera, a 50MP + 48MP + 64MP triple camera setup, and a 5,400mAh battery. Notably, the showcased OP12 variant is equipped with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
Meanwhile, the global launch date of the debice is yet to be officially announced. However, the global promotion campaign hints at a potential global launch on January 24. Despite no official confirmation from the smartphone OEM, famed tipster Max Jambor recently suggested that the OnePlus 12 series will be unveiled globally on January 23 in India.
Jambor posted from his X (formerly Twitter) handle: "Only a few days left before the #OnePlus12 gets fully revealed in China! People are really excited about this product and expectations are high! But when will the global launch happen? #OnePlus12Series will be unveiled globally on January 23rd in India! I'm looking forward to all your comments and thoughts on the next flagship from @oneplus!"
The in-depth renders suggest that the OnePlus 12 will come with an alert slider, IR blaster, metal frame, and a stereo speaker arrangement. On the front, the OnePlus 12 would boast a curved display with a punch hole, crafted by China's display making giant BoE. The display is equipped with features including up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness, which is more than the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max, enhanced colour accuracy and disclosed touch latency, according to the company.
