Handset maker OnePlus on Tuesday unveiled its flagship OnePlus 11 5G smartphone alongside the OnePlus 11R in India. The company also launched the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 with Google's signature spatial audio, the OnePlus Pad, OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro and the OnePlus Featuring 81 Pro keyboard. The launch of the flagship OnePlus 11 comes days after Samsung launched its iPhone rivalling flagship Galaxy S23 series with customised top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and better cameras.

OnePlus 11 5G price and availability


In India, the OnePlus 11 5G will go on sale on February 14 across OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store App, OnePlus Experience Stores and Amazon.in. The device will retail at Rs 56,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and Rs 61,999 for the 16GB/256GB variant. Pre-orders have started on OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store App, and Amazon.in.

OnePlus 11 5G specs and features


The OnePlus 11 5G comes with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and promises to deliver increased CPU and GPU speeds (35 per cent and 25 per cent respectively), along with improved power efficiency. The OnePlus 11 5G also comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM memory and OnePlus’s proprietary RAM-Vita technology to allow for as many as 44 applications to be active on the device at the same time.

There's 100W SUPERVOOC fast-charging, coupled with a 5,000mAh dual-cell battery on the phone, which is claimed to prolong the battery’s lifespan. The OnePlus 11 5G is said to take only 25 minutes to charge from 1 per cent to 100 per cent, courtesy of the 100W SUPERVOOC fast-charging technology. The phone has certifications including TÜV SÜD 48-month Fluency Rating A, TÜV SÜD Precise Touching S Rating, SGS Perceived Fluency A+ and TÜV Rheinland. The OnePlus 11 5G is also the first OnePlus device that will receive four major OxygenOS updates and five years of security updates.


The OnePlus 11 has a 6.7-inch 2K 120Hz Super Fluid AMOLED panel with LTPO 3.0, which is a self-developed technology that saves energy and adapts refresh rates according to the specific use, thus, ensuring consistency and clarity regardless of the content. The OnePlus 11 5G is also equipped with Dual “Reality” speakers and supports Dolby Atmos.


OnePlus 11 has a triple-camera system, dominated by an IMX890 50MP main sensor, a 32MP portrait sensor and a 48MP ultra-wide sensor. The phone has Hasselblad collaboration that would render natural colour calibration, supported by a 13-channel multi-spectral sensor for light-colour identification as well as Hasselblad portrait mode. 


The phone has been launched in Titan Black and Eternal Green colours. While the Titan Black edition uses matte frosted glass, the Eternal Green model uses an internal layering treatment to reduce fingerprint stains. OnePlus has focused on the overall curvature to ensure all surfaces are on a similar plane, in an attempt to improve the phone’s ergonomics.

The OnePlus 11R comes in two colour variations: Galactic Silver and Sonic Black. The Galactic Silver is inspired by the beauty of interstellar light and has a silver hue with a subtle hint of ice-blue while the Sonic Black comes in a noticeably matte finish and takes its name from the speed of sound, supersonic. OnePlus 11R comes has been priced at Rs 39,999 for the 12GB/256GB model while the 16GB/512GB variant will set you back by Rs 44,999. The smartphone will be up for sale via Amazon.in starting February 28. Prospective buyers can pre-order the smartphone starting February 21.


OnePlus 11R specs and features 


The OnePlus 11R has a design similar to the OnePlus 11, but with a glossy finish. According to OnePlus, its design pays homage to the elegance and high performance of sports cars and spacecraft.


The OnePlus 11R sports a 6.7-inch 120Hz Super Fluid display with ADFR 2.0. There's a resolution of 2772x1240 and 450 PPI. The panel is certified by SGS Low Blue Light Ex and it is the OnePlus smartphone to support ADFR 2.0 technology for LTPS display that allows the display’s frame rate to automatically adjust between 40Hz, 45Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz, for various usage scenarios.
 
The OnePlus 11R is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and has up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM with RAM-Vita technology and a cooling system offering a 5,177.46 mm VC area. There's HyperBoost Gaming Engine that claims to render OnePlus 11R 5G with a better gaming experience. 
 
With support for 100W SUPERVOOC and a 5,000mAh battery with Battery Health Engine, the OnePlus 11R charges from 1-100 per cent in 25 minutes. Moreover, the OnePlus 11R is equipped with SUPERVOOC-S, which is the world’s first customised charging chip. The OnePlus 11R also comes with a new triple camera system at the rear, minus the Hasselblad partnership. The main 50MP sensor has OIS, an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro camera. The smartphone also packs a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture.
