New Delhi: With less than a month left for CES 2022 to kick off in Las Vegas, handset maker OnePlus has announced it will attend the Consumer Electronics Show, slated between January 3-January 8. Unlike this year's show that was held online due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, CES 2022 will be a face-to-face event.
According to tipster Max Jambor, OnePlus has posted an invite of the OnePlus' launch event that will be held on January 5. Jambor tweeted the image of the invite with "Save the date!"
The invite clearly states that the event is slated to be held in Las Vegas during CES but, it does not reveal what OnePlus will announce.
If rumours are to be believed, the handset maker may launch the upcoming OnePlus 10 lineup of devices. The company may also launch the OnePlus 10, or the OnePlus 10 Pro at the event.
Meanwhile, earlier this week, OnePlus has become the latest smartphone OEM to announce that its next flagship, the purported OnePlus 10, will feature the top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The company CEO Pete Lau, on his Weibo page, mentioned that the flagship processor will be featured in OnePlus' next-generation devices (via PhoneArena). Lau did not name the OnePlus 10 and 10 Pro, but these are the purported names of the forthcoming handsets.
Meanwhile, the handset maker may launch the OnePlus RT alongside its new true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds, the OnePlus Buds Z2 in India this month. According to a leak, the OnePlus RT may be unveiled in two colours in India.
