Nothing Ear (Stick) TWS earbuds are now official. Priced at Rs 8,499, the new earbuds are costlier by over Rs 1,000 when compared to Nothing’s first TWS offering, the Ear (1). Staying true to Nothing’s transparent design theme, the Ear (Stick) comes in a unique twist-to-open see-through case. Audio is powered by 12.6mm dynamic drivers and the Nothing Ear (Stick) can offer up to seven hours of audio playback on a single charge, and up to three hours of calling time otherwise. The case is claimed to offer up to 29 hours of audio playback and up to 12 hours of calling time. The new earbuds will be up for sale starting November 4.

A quick charge of 10 minutes juices up the earbuds to offer up to an hour of playback. Calls and voice assistants are activated by tapping gestures.


Jabra Elite 4 Active

Designed for fitness enthusiasts, the Jabra Elite 4 Active offers a snug fit with IP57 dust and water protection. The earbuds support active noise cancellation (ANC) and are also able to pick up external noise through microphones and play it through for users to be aware of their surroundings. The Elite 4 Active offers up to seven hours of audio playback, and the charging case can increase this duration up to 28 hours. 


JVC HA-ET90BT


Price: 4,999


Designed specifically for runners, the oval-shaped JVC HAT-ET90BT can be fitted into ear shape snugly with a swift pivot motion. It is rated IPX5 for water and sweat resistance. Its main drawback is that the earbuds offer three hours of playback on a single charge and an additional charge of six hours from the case. The earbuds’ 8.2mm driver can offer a frequency response between 20Hz and 20,000Hz.


JBL Tune Flex

Sporting a 12mm driver, the JBL Tune Flex can offer a punchy bass that can compete with the likes of Sony’s TWS offerings. The earbuds sport four mics to offer better clarity during phone calls. When noise cancellation is turned on, the earbuds offer a playback time of six hours on a single charge and an additional 18 hours with the case. When noise cancellation is off, the playback time can be increased up to eight hours (and 24 hours with case).
