Nothing Ear (2) Specifications, Features (Expected)
Nothing is keeping details of the upcoming Ear (2) under tight wraps. On the official teaser on the Nothing website, the company has only said that Nothing Ear (2) will have “Better Sound. Better clarity. Just Better.” This doesn’t really give away much.
However, it appears that Ear (2) will retain the transparent design that made Ear (1) unique in the first place. Pei did mention earlier that the new earbuds will come with support for low-latency HD codec, or LHDC 5.0, to allow users to play hi-res audio without having to compromise on bitrate.
As per a tweet by tipster Paras Guglani, Nothing Ear (2) may feature 11.6mm dynamic drivers (the same as Ear (1)’s drivers), two-device pairing, and active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 40dB. Guglani also tipped that Nothing Ear (2) will offer music playback of up to 36 hours (with case) and up to 10 minutes of playback with just 10 minutes of charging.
It should be noted that none of the above details has been confirmed by Nothing so far. So these specifications should be considered with a pinch of salt.
