Nothing's sub-brand CMF Watch Pro 2 and Buds Pro 2 are slated to launch in India on July 8 at 2:30 PM IST, with a global release also scheduled. This is confirmed by their listing on Singapore’s IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority) certification website. As the launch date darws near, we may see more leaks and official announcements detailing the capabilities of the new wearables from CMF by Nothing.

CMF Watch Pro 2, CMF Buds Pro 2 Have Obtained BIS Certification In India

Although the IMDA listing does not provide feature details, earlier reports indicate that both the CMF Watch Pro 2 and Buds Pro 2 have obtained BIS certification in India. They are set to launch next month alongside the CMF Phone 1, the first handset from CMF by Nothing. These products will be available on e-commerce site Flipkart and the official CMF By Nothing website.

The CMF Watch Pro 2 and CMF Buds Pro 2, with model numbers D398 and B172 respectively, have been listed on Singapore’s IMDA certification database. While this listing confirms their imminent launch, it does not provide detailed information about their specifications. The IMDA database lists the CMF Watch Pro 2, identified by the model number D398, under the Bluetooth category, indicating that it will not support LTE connectivity.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the official CMF account announced that the CMF Buds Pro 2 and CMF Watch Pro 2 will be launched along with the CMF Phone 1. These new devices will be introduced at Nothing's upcoming Community Update event on July 8.

Meanwhile, the CMF Phone 1 is rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and thick bezels. The device is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which is also speculated to power the upcoming Oppo Reno 12 Pro. The CMF Phone 1 may house a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging. Although these specifications have not been officially confirmed, it is certain that the smartphone will not include a charger in the package, similar to the likes of Samsung, Apple and Google.

The company has not yet detailed product information. However, an image recently posted on X showcases elements of the smartphone's design. The image reveals that the phone features a vibrant orange colour, consistent with the colour used in other CMF products such as the GAN charger and CMF Buds. More colours are likely to be introduced at the official unveiling.

CMF, a sub-brand of Nothing, is focused on providing budget-friendly products. Notably, until now, it has only released accessories, including a smartwatch, charger, and TWS earbuds.
