Handset maker Motorola on Friday refreshed its G series with the launch of G84 with leather finish in India. The phone comes with a 120Hz panel, 10-bit, billion colours pOLED display and segment-first 12GB RAM/256GB storage configuration. A key highlight of the Moto G84 is the vegan leather finish which is available in Viva Magenta and Marshmallow Blue colours. Realme Narzo 60 5G is another smartphone in the same price segment to sport vegan leather design. The third variant in the G84 line, Midnight Blue is available in an acrylic glass finish.

The Moto G84 5G comes with a 120Hz 6.55-inch pOLED display with 10-bit colour depth and 100% DCI-P3 support. The Full HD+ resolution combined with a 120Hz refresh rate promises switching between apps, playing games, and scrolling websites smoothly and seamlessly. There's a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The phone is the first under the Rs 20,000 segment to come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage configuration. This is coupled with the support of 14 5G bands and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor.

The device has been launched at a price of Rs 19,999 and the effective price is Rs 18,999 including bank and exchange offers.
The Moto G84 is equipped with a 50MP primary camera with Optical Image stabilisation (OIS) with Ultra Pixel technology and an 8MP secondary sensor. On the front, the smartphone features a 16MP camera. The camera system comes with various features such as slow motion, hyper-lapse, stabilizer, auto smile capture, shot optimization and much more.

The handset maker will also launch a new model -- the Moto G54 in the country next week which would fall under the budget segment and will compete with the likes of Redmi 12 and Realme 11X.
