Apple on Tuesday launched its latest line of MacBook Pro laptops, powered by its in-house M2 Pro and M2 Max SoCs. The top-of-the laptop has been refreshed in two sizes — 14.2-inch and 16-inch — each with its own M2 Pro and M2 Max variants. The M2 Pro chip offers up to 12-core CPU prowess and up to 19-core GPU to enable smoother graphics performance. The M2 Max chip, on the other hand, comes with double the memory bandwidth of M2 Pro and up to 38-core GPU capabilities. 


The Cupertino tech giant also launched a refreshed Mac mini with new M2 and M2 Pro chips. Alongside faster performance and advanced connectivity, the Mac mini comes with support for up to three displays.


Here are the India prices for everything new that Apple announced on January 17:


Mac mini: Price in India, availability


Mac mini with M2 price starts at Rs 59,900 and at Rs 49,900 for students.


On the other hand, Mac mini with M2 Pro starts at Rs 1,29,900 and at Rs 1,19,900 for students. 


The refreshed Mac mini is up for pre-orders now via the official Apple Store website. It will be available in retail starting January 24. 


MacBook Pro: Price in India, availability


The 14.2-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Pro (10-Core CPU + 16-Core GPU + 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD) is priced at Rs 1,99,900. 


The 14.2-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Pro (12-Core CPU + 19-Core GPU + 16GB RAM + 1TB SSD) is priced at Rs 2,49,900.


The 14.2-inch MacBook Pro With M2 Max (12-Core CPU + 30-Core GPU + 32GB RAM + 1TB SSD) is priced at Rs 3,09,900. 


The 16-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Pro (12-Core CPU + 19-Core GPU + 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD) is priced at Rs 2,49,900.


The 16-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Pro (12-Core CPU + 19-Core GPU + 16GB RAM + 1TB SSD) is priced at Rs 2,69,900.


The 16-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Max (12-Core CPU + 38-Core GPU + 32GB RAM + 1TB SSD)  is priced at Rs 3,49,900.


The new MacBook Pro models are up for pre-orders already, and they will be available in retail starting January 24. There will be students discounts as well for models.
