Apple is likely to launch the iPhone SE 4 with its proprietary 5G modem, says a report by MacRumors, citing analyst Jeff Pu. Apple may launch the iPhone SE 4 in 2025, the report added.

iPhone SE 4 may feature the Apple 5G modem which will be manufactured by Taiwan's TSMC.

Pu had earlier predicted that Apple may launch the iPhone SE 4 next year, which could be an ideal choice for Apple fans who want to upgrade without spending a bomb.

Even as the iPhone SE 4 is likely to be unveiled in 2024, the model has started making headlines already. The iPhone SE is anticipated to be launched at a lower price than the premium iPhone 15 series which is expected to be unveiled this fall. Similar to its predecessor, the iPhone SE 2022, the upcoming iPhone SE 4 is likely to be launched to compete with the upcoming Google Pixel 7a, reporters suggest.

The Apple iPhone SE 4 is likely to come with a number of upgrades, suggest rumours and leaks.

Meanwhile, the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro may ditch the solid-state volume rockers with haptic feedback which would have been similar to the home button in the old iPhone 7, the media has reported. Apple is likely to launch the new iPhone 15 line later this year and may not include the solid-state buttons on the iPhone 15 Pro due to manufacturing challenges, according to Jeff Pu, Haitong Tech Analyst, as reported by MacRumors.

The iPhone 15 series is likely to sport the same display size as the iPhone 14 series. However, the iPhone 15 Pro Max model may bear the "Ultra" moniker; Samsung also uses the Ultra moniker for its super-premium flagship Galaxy S models.

Also, India's iPhone exports jumped almost four times to cross $5 billion or more than Rs 40,000 crore in FY 2023, in the wake of increased local production of Apple iPhone models, says a recent report by ET Telecom. India has become a smartphone export hub for countries including Germany, Russia, the UK, France, Italy, the Middle East and Japan.
