The iPhone 15 Pro Max is witnessing more demand than its predecessor iPhone 14 Pro Max, according to famed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of TF International Securities, a financial services group. However, production issues continue to plague Apple. As per Kuo, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is garnering the most attention from prospective buyers and it has bedimmed last year's iPhone 14 Pro Max's demand. Notably, the Cupertino-based tech giant needs to address production delays which is said to result in longer shipping times.
"Wait times for the iPhone 15 Pro Max are significantly longer than for other models, but this is more than just due to high demand. Current iPhone 15 Pro Max shipments are lower due to a later mass production schedule, and its current production challenges are more pronounced than other models," Kuo wrote on Medium.com.

iPhone 15 Series To Hit 80 Million Shipments By Year-End
Waiting time for the new Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max is “significantly” more than the 14 Pro Max, also due to the altered manufacturing schedule. Kuo also mentioned that the iPhone 15 series will hit a combined 80 million shipments by the end of 2023.
Consumer demand for the two standard iPhone 15 models is roughly on par with last year's iPhone 14 and 14 Plus models.
Meanwhile, shipments of the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models will be delayed until November in India, thus, pointing to higher demand for the Pro models, news agency Bloomberg has reported. The delivery of non-Pro models, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus have also been pushed back, but not too far from the scheduled date of availability, said a report by Business Standard. The iPhone 15 series is slated to be available in India starting September 22 and pre-bookings were opened last week.
