New Delhi: It seems that the wait for iPhone 13 launch is likely to get over soon as it is tipped to take place on September 14. According to the FrontPageTech report, the entire iPhone 13 lineup will be up for pre-order on September 17 and the sale is likely to begin from September 24.
The report quoted the Chinese e-commerce website, IT Home about the expected launch. If these dates happen to be true, then the Cupertino launch event may take place on the second Tuesday of September and invites are expected to be received by the media by September 7.
What expected models are lined up for the launch?
The lineup is likely to include four models —iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and iPhone 13 mini. Also, the expected launch of Apple AirPods 3 along with the iPhone 13 series may happen at a separate event later in September, according to the latest DigiTimes report. The report suggested multiple events through September for expected launches, including a new iPad Mini, AirPods 3 and a new Apple Watch.
iPhone 13 is expected to come in a Sunset Gold colorway and offer dual rear cameras and a notch at the front, according to a Chinese tipster who revealed the screenshots on microblogging site Weibo listing the models. In line with the iPhone 12 series, an iPhone 13 models are expected to feature 5.4-inch, 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screens.
The tipster also indicated that AirPods 3 may be unveiled on September 30, and they could come with IPX4 water resistance.
