It should be noted that up to now, the Cupertino, California-based tech giant has issued four beta versions of iOS 17.2, indicating, the public release is imminent within the coming weeks and likely before the year ends.
Some of the highly-anticipated features in iOS 17.2 are the introduction of the Journal app, FaceTime warnings for blocked contacts, sticker reactions in the Messages app, spatial video recording support, Apple Music listening history, Siri ETA, collaborative Apple Music playlists, an action button Translate feature, among others.

A new default playlist named “Favourite Songs” is automatically created in iOS 17.2, deriving from songs a user marked as "favourites." This enhances the existing "Favourites" feature introduced in previous iOS 17.1. Additionally, iOS 17.2 enables automatic addition of favourited songs to your music library, accessible through the Settings app under "Music".
