Honor on Friday launched two new tablets - the high-end Honor MagicPad 2 and the more affordable Honor Pad 9 Pro. The Honor MagicPad 2 is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and boasts an OLED display, while the Honor Pad 9 Pro runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC and features an LCD screen. Both tablets come equipped with a 13-megapixel primary camera and operate on MagicOS 8, which is based on Android 14.

Honor MagicPad 2 Launched: Price

The Honor MagicPad 2 comes with a starting price tag of CNY 2,999 (around Rs 34,500) for the vanilla variant of 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The second variant of Honor MagicPad 2 comes with a RAM of 12GB and a storage of 256GB and will cost you CNY 3,299 (about Rs 38,000). The third variant comes with a RAM of 16GB and a storage of 512GB at a price tag of CNY 3,699 (approximately Rs 42,600). The fourth and the last variant comes with a RAM of 16GB and a storage of 1TB. The top variant is priced at  CNY 4,199 (around Rs 48,400).

In China, the Honor MagicPad 2 is available in Moon Shadow White, Sky Blue, and Starry Sky Black.

Honor Pad 9 Pro Launched: Price

On the other hand, the Honor Pad 9 Pro is priced at CNY 2,299 (around Rs 26,500) for the 8GB+256GB model, while the 12GB RAM version with the same storage costs CNY 2,499 (about Rs 28,800). Additionally, there's a "soft version" available for an extra CNY 200 (approximately Rs 2,300) for each storage option.

The Honor Pad 9 Pro comes in Sky Blue and Starry Gray.

Honor MagicPad 2 features a 12.3-inch 1,920x3,000-pixel OLED display which comes with a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. The device runs on Android 14-based MagicOS 8 and has been equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset along with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

It features a 13-megapixel primary rear camera, with autofocus and an f/2.0 aperture. It also has a 9-megapixel secondary camera with an aperture of f/2.2.

Coming to the battery backup, the device has been equipped with a 10,050mAh battery with support for 35W.

In terms of connectivity, the device supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.

The Honor MagicPad measures 274.5x180.5x5.8mm and weighs 555g.

Honor Pad 9 Pro comes with a 12.1-inch 1,600x2,560-pixel TFT LCD screen with a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. The device runs on Android 14-based MagicOS 8 and has been equipped with a Dimensity 8100 SoC, with a RAM of up to 12GB and an inbuilt storage of 256GB. 

Honor Pad 9 Pro also features a 13-megapixel primary rear camera, with autofocus and an f/2.0 aperture. It also has a 5-megapixel secondary camera with an aperture of f/2.2.

Coming to the battery backup, the device has been equipped with a 10,050mAh battery with support for 66W.

If we talk about the connectivity part then it supports Bluetooth 5.2.
