HMD recently unveiled its initial lineup of self-branded smartphones earlier this week. The company introduced the HMD Pulse series in specific European markets, featuring the HMD Pulse, Pulse+, and Pulse Pro models. While an official launch date for these phones in India has not been confirmed yet, HMD has assured that its self-branded smartphones will be arriving in the country. The company will disclose the name of the first HMD phone set for an India release on Monday (April 29).


In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), HMD India announced that they will reveal the name of the inaugural HMD-branded smartphone to be launched in India on April 29. No further information regarding this anticipated model has been provided yet. More details about the upcoming device may be unveiled in the coming days leading up to the official announcement. There is speculation that one of the recently launched HMD Pulse series phones might make its debut in the Indian market.






HMD Pulse. HMD Pulse Plus, HMD Pulse Pro: Price, Availability


HMD Pulse is priced at EUR 140 (roughly Rs 12,460) and is available in Atmos Blue, Dreamy Pink, and Meteor Black colour options.


The HMD Pulse+ will hit the markets in Apricot Crush, Glacier Green, and Midnight Blue shades and is listed at EUR 160 (roughly Rs 14,240).


The top-of-the-line HMD Pulse Pro is available in Black Ocean, Glacier Green, and Twilight Purple colourways at EUR 180 (Rs 16,000).

The HMD Pulse and Pulse+ models are powered by Unisoc T606 SoCs coupled with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, offering up to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. These devices come with Android 14, 6.65-inch 90Hz LCD screens, and 5,000mAh batteries supporting 10W charging. The base model features a 13-megapixel dual rear camera setup, while the Plus variant boasts a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup. Both models are equipped with 8-megapixel front cameras.


On the other hand, the HMD Pro features a 6.56-inch HD+ display and is powered by a Unisoc T606 SoC with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It includes a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and a 50-megapixel front camera sensor. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging support.


Additionally, HMD has introduced the HMD Vibe model in the US market. While it may not be available in India, this model is reportedly priced at $150 (around Rs. 12,500). Although specific details are not listed, reports suggest it features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, a 4,000mAh battery with 10W charging, a 13-megapixel dual rear camera system, a 5-megapixel selfie camera, a 6.56-inch 90Hz HD+ display, and an IP52 build.
