With Samsung set to host its Galaxy Unpacked event in its home turf, Seoul, South Korea for the first time, the price of the upcoming Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic have leaked online. Multiple leaks and rumours suggest that Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series may be officially unveiled next month at the Galaxy Unpacked event alongside the next-gen Galaxy Z Fold smartphone. According to a report by Dealabs Magazine, the prices of the Galaxy Watch 6 series have been leaked in France. The 40mm Bluetooth variant of the smartwatch is likely to start at EUR 319.99 which roughly translates into Rs 35,800. There may not be a Galaxy "Pro" variant this year. The regular Galaxy Watch 6 may also include a 44mm variant with Bluetooth and 4G for EUR 349.99, which roughly translates into Rs 31,400.


The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic may be unveiled in two sizes: 43mm and 47mm with the former variant with Bluetooth and LTE editions may be priced around EUR 419.99 which is roughly Rs 37,700 and EUR 469.99 which is around Rs 42,100. The 47mm variants of the Watch 6 Classic are likely to be priced around EUR 449.99 which is roughly Rs 40,300 and EUR 499.99 which roughly translates into Rs 44,800, respectively.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is likely to mark the return of the rotating bezel which we did not see in last year's Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. According to some leaked renders, the Galaxy Watch 6 may come in cream, silver and black colourways. Samsung's partnership with Google is likely to continue, in a bid to improve WearOS.

Meanwhile, the highlight of the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event would be the next generation of foldables from Samsung -- the much-awaited Galaxy Fold 5 and Galaxy Flip 5 that may come with dust resistance. According to a recent leak by a tipster named @chunvn8888, the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 devices will come with dust resistance support, as cited by 9to5Google. To recall, the South Korean tech giant had introduced water resistance in its foldable smartphone lineup with the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Z Flip 3.


The foldable smartphone space is seeing stiff competition from other handset makers like Oppo and Tecno which have unveiled their Oppo Find N2 Flip and Tecno Phantom V foldable devices. The latter, interestingly, I the first foldable phone to be unveiled under Rs 1 lakh.
