According to a report, online gaming revenues increased by 18 percent. While last year, the revenue figure was Rs 6,500 crores, it has reached Rs 7,700 crores this year. It is also expected that the revenue will grow further by 2023. It could reach a figure of Rs. 15,500 crores.

According to reports, gamers used smartphones to play online games earlier. However, they are now turning to desktops, laptops, and big-screen TVs for a better experience. These devices enable great graphics, bigger screens, better sound quality, and easy controls.


Demand For Computers Increases


Popular computer manufacturer HP surveyed 1,500 people in the 15-40 years age group across 25 cities. This survey revealed that many people were embracing gaming not only during the lockdown but from a long-term perspective.


At the same time, it has come to the fore that due to this increasing trend of online gaming, the demand for computers has also increased.
