Rivalries among smartphone makers are not new, but London-based consumer tech brand Nothing's founder Carl Pei has made headlines for mentioning a competing brand's smartphone for a different reason. Nothing CEO Pei was seen in a video posted on his brand's YouTube channel wherein he can be seen praising Apple iPhone 14 Pro’s cameras.

According to Pei, one should switch to the iPhone 14 Pro from his own Nothing Phone (1) for better photography.

Those who know Pei, also know that he has been vocal about drawing inspiration from tech giant Apple. His latest video uploaded on Nothing's YouTube channel shows his honest opinion and review of the new iPhone 14 Pro, which has been more in demand this year than the vanilla iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.

The Nothing founder can be seen saying that he used the iPhone 14 Pro for a week as his secondary phone. He also said that he has been an Apple fan for the longest time. However, one of the key highlighting features of the iPhone 14 Pro, the Dynamic Island, according to Nothing founder was a bit overhyped as it does not change the way you use the smartphone.

However, when it comes to imaging, Pei was in awe of the iPhone 14 Pro’s camera. The Nothing CEO recommended Apple iPhone 14 Pro over his Nothing Phone (1) for better photography. Watch the full video of Nothing founder's review of the Apple iPhone 14 Pro below.

To recall, Nothing has launched three products to date and its first smartphone, the Nothing Phone (1) has been the most hyped consumer tech product in recent times. The other two products Nothing has launched are the Nothing Ear (1) TWS earbuds and Nothing Ear (Stick), which are also TWS buds.
