A report from Apple Insider suggests that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will feature a camera setup similar to last year's models. The devices are rumoured to include a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture and 2x optical telephoto zoom. Additionally, the ultra-wide-angle lens is expected to receive a minor upgrade, with an improved f/2.2 aperture, compared to the f/2.4 aperture on the iPhone 15.
This enhancement could result in better low-light photography by allowing more light to reach the sensor.
Another significant addition to the iPhone 16 series could be the introduction of macro photography capabilities, a first for Apple's standard iPhone models.
