After the announcement of the M2 MacBook Air at this year's Apple Worldwide Developer Conference (WWCC), Apple enthusiasts were expecting the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro laptops to be unveiled in late October-early November launch, in typical Apple fashion, but that is not going to happen before early 2023, the media has reported.

The Cupertino-based tech giant has no plans to release new iterations of the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros until the beginning of 2023, according to by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman's Power On newsletter. Gurman further added that those looking forward to the new Macs might have to wait until March. According to Gurman and famed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the new iteration of MacBook Pros will feature the latest M2 chip. The new Mac mini is likely to be upgraded with an M2 chip as well.

"New 14" and 16" MacBook Pro with new processors will enter mass production in 4Q22. Given TSMC's guidance that the 3nm will contribute revenue starting in 1H23, processors of 14" and 16" MacBook Pro models may still adopt the 5nm advanced node," Kuo had earlier tweeted in August.

The iPhone maker had refreshed the MacBook Pro 14 and 16 with a new design -- notch on screen and M1 Pro and M1 Max processors last year. The company may bring design changes with the next iterations too.

To recall, Apple quietly unveiled the iPad (10th Gen) and the new iPad Pro in India earlier this month. The new iPad Pro's starting price has been set at Rs 1,12,900 for Wi-Fi model with 128GB and Rs 1,27,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model with 128GB storage. The starting price of the new iPad is Rs 44,900 for Wi-Fi model with 64GB and Rs 59,990 for Wi-Fi + Cellular model with 64GB.
