There is bad news for the customers of Bharti Airtel, India's second-largest telecom company. The company has increased the price of its postpaid plan. Airtel has increased the price of its corporate postpaid plan to Rs 299, although customers will also get some extra data in it. Airtel has also made changes in its retail postpaid plans to increase its average income. The company has taken this decision at a time when telecom companies are facing difficulty in increasing their income with the help of mobile data and calling.

Postpaid plans become expensive
Airtel said that its postpaid plan will now start from Rs 299. There will be 30 GB of data in it, whereas earlier it was 10 GB of data. Bharti Airtel's mobile service average revenue declined by 5.8 percent to Rs 145 crore in the first quarter of January-March of 2021 from Rs 154 crore in the same period a year ago.

Huge investment made for 5G
Ajay Chitkara, Director and CEO of Airtel Business, said that over the past few years, Airtel has invested heavily in the spectrum, infrastructure and new technology to build a 5G ready and secure network.

These plans of Reliance Jio are also expensive
In the data plan of Rs 499, the country's largest telecom company Reliance Jio offers 1.5GB data per day. Disney + Hotstar VIP also gets a free subscription for one year in this plan. Not only this, apart from JioTV, JioNews, JioCinema, JioSecurity and JioCloud, other benefits will also be available. This plan will be valid for 56 days.
