Acer has made its debut in the handheld gaming console market with the launch of the all new Acer Nitro Blaze 7. This newest offering from the house of Acer is powered by AMD Ryzen 8040 series processor and is equipped with 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 2TB of storage. This handheld gaming console runs on Windows 11 and comes with a dedicated Acer Game Space app that will give you access to games from various platforms from a unified interface.


At the moment, Acer Nitro Blaze 7 does not yet have a price point or release date. However, as per reports, it might soon become available in India.

Acer Nitro Blaze 7: Details, Specifications



The Acer Nitro Blaze 7, powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS chip, marks the company's debut into handheld gaming devices. This processor features Ryzen AI, which Acer claims enhances both performance and responsiveness in games and applications. It comes equipped with 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and offers storage options of up to 2 TB via M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD.


The Nitro Blaze 7 boasts a 7-inch Full HD IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate and touch interface support. It leverages the integrated GPU to offer Radeon Super Resolution and AMD FreeSync technologies. Radeon Super Resolution enhances lower resolution graphics, while AMD FreeSync provides a variable refresh rate for a more fluid gaming experience.


Coming to the battery aspect, the Acer Nitro Blaze 7 features a 50.04 Wh Li-Polymer battery and supports 65W charging from a Type-C cable. In terms of connectivity, the Nitro Blaze 7 supports Wi-Fi 6E and includes several ports for connecting external devices and accessories. These include a USB Type-C port with USB4 for fast wired charging and a dedicated MicroSD card slot for additional storage expansion.
