Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, has ridiculed Meta's plans to launch a new social media platform similar to Twitter, calling it a "copy cat." The controversy began when the music news website Daily Loud reported that Meta was exploring the idea of launching a Twitter rival.

In response to a user's comment on Twitter about the motivation behind Meta's decision, Musk commented "Copy cat."

Several users reacted to Musk's post, with some expressing skepticism about the potential success of a new Meta platform that may be plagued with content moderation issues. Meanwhile, others made sarcastic comments about Facebook's ability to enter other industries outside of social media.
