Krafton had earlier announced that it will introduce even stricter measures and that the game developers will now ban the device itself, and not just the associated account that is found to be involved in cheating or hacking the popular battle royale game.

The device ban became applicable starting December 24. BGMI developer Krafton mentioned that if the use of illegal programs is detected with a mobile device by the newly applied security logic, the device will be permanently banned from using BGMI battle royale game.h this, BGMI parent Krafton is intending to crack down on players using illegal software to play the battle royale game using the same device. This move would make sure that players who get caught cheating would be banned and won't be able to cheat again unless they get a new device.
