For the first time in years, the Apple Store was down on Monday evening IST, hours ahead of Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference keynote address, popularly known as WWDC 2022. "Developing news. We're making updates to the Apple Store," a message on the Apple Store read. "Check back after the event, streaming on Apple.com or on the Apple TV app."


The outage of Apple Store is a part of the tech giant's buildup to events, which means the company is adding new products to its line-up.


With the much-anticipated WWDC 2022 kicking off today, Monday (June 6), iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 are the major announcements expected from the event that runs through June 10.  The developer-centric event will mostly be a virtual event, but there is a special in-person event today at Apple Park that will most likely see limited attendance.


The keynote address will be held online today and hosted by Apple CEO Tim Cook at 10 am PDT or 10:30 pm IST. The WWDC 2022 can also be streamed live on the company's website, Apple's Developer app, Apple TV and YouTube.


While most of WWDC 2022 will be a virtual event, but there is a special in-person event on June 6 at Apple Park. Among all announcements, the most exciting is touted to be the iOS 16 which is likely to bring the always-on display to the upcoming Apple iPhone 14 lineup.
