New Delhi: Telecom service provider Airtel's mobile internet and broadband services suffered an outage on Friday. The services across both the services seem to be down in multiple regions, including Delhi-NCR and the issue emerged around 11am. Several users took to Twitter to vent their ire after facing connectivity issues with Airtel's broadband and mobile data. The reason behind the major outage is not known, however, the telco has posted a tweet acknowledging the outage.


"Our internet services had a brief disruption and we deeply regret the inconvenience this may have caused you. Everything is back as normal now, as our teams keep working to deliver a seamless experience to our customers," Airtel India tweeted.







According to outage detection site Downdetector, 51 per cent users reported of experiencing total blackout on Airtel network, 33 per cent users reported of facing mobile internet issues while 16 per cent Airtel users complained of facing no signal on Airtel.




 


DownDetector also added that the major Airtel outage hit many cities across the country, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad among others. However, some Airtel users were able to make calls as well as use data services without any issues, according to reports. Many Airtel users mentioned that they were facing an outage the second time in the month of February.
