Chennai: World's tallest structure Burj Khalifa in Dubai was adorned with Tamil letters and details about the archeological excavations done in state in order to throw light to centuries-old history in the global arena on Friday. During the screening, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, who is in Dubai for his four-day official visit, was also present to witness the display.


On Friday, TN CM Stalin after inaugurating Tamil Nadu’s pavilion in Dubai Expo 2022 shared a video of a 3-minute display about Tamil Nadu’s archeological excavations at Burj Khalifa.


Sharing the video, Stalin said, “Our glorious history dating back to 3,200 years revealed through Keeladi and Porunai excavations were displayed at World's tallest structure Burj Khalifa"


"The people from around the world who were present at Burj Khalifa were amassed. Let's write the history of India from South!" he said.

The CM also visited Oscar award-winning composer AR Rahman at his studio in Dubai. During the visit, AR Rahman showed a glimpse of the album 'Moopilla Thamizhe Thaaye' (Tamil Anthem) being composed by him.


During the visit, Stalin was accompanied by his wife Durga Stalin, MLA Udhayanidhi Stalin and his wife Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi. AR Rahman’s daughter Khatija and son Ameen were also present during the meet.

Meanwhile, Stalin also inaugurated Tamil Nadu theater at Dubai World Expo 2022 and saw traditional art performances in the exhibition.
