Chennai: Kollywood Actor Suriya Sivakumar on Saturday released a video reaching out to NEET aspirants to instill courage and fearlessness in the wake of four suicides of NEET aspirants till Friday this year. In the inspiring video inducing wisdom, Suriya said that he has failed several exams with poor marks so marks and exams are not the only thing in life since hope and courage can help win big. 


Talking about the extreme decision, the actor who runs Agaram Foundation, an NGO aiming to provide equal opportunities to under-previleged, said, “I request you all students like your own brother to be without fear. Do you still have the sadness that you had last month or last week? Think. It would have definitely reduced or might have vanished.”


“One exam is not bigger than your life. If you're feeling sad or depressed, speak your heart out to the person whom you trust, your parents, your teachers or any elderly persons. Sadness, depression, anxiety everything can fade away within sometime,” he said.

Moreover, on the decision, he said that suicides will turn into punishments for the loved ones of those who take the extreme decision. He said, “Suicide and decision to end your life is a punishment you’re giving to your parents and to people who like you. So, do not forget this.” 


“I have failed several exams. I have scored bad marks so I can definitely say marks and exams are not the only things, there are several things and there are several people who are there to understand you and love you. If you're hopeful and courageous then you can definitely win big,” he said.

Further, the actor ended the video by quoting a song of freedom fighter Subramania Bharathi-- “Achamilai Achamilai Acham Enbathu Ilaye” meaning “I have no fear, I have no fear, I have no fear over anything”--and telling the aspirants to be fearless.
