TN Budget Live Updates: DMK regime to commence its budget in Tamil Nadu today. It is interesting to see this year's e-budget is evoking public interest. Finance Minister PTR Palanivel Thiaga Rajan have earlier hinted that some makeshift changes in the finances can be expected in this session of budget in likes of increasing taxes, streamlining the distribution of subsidies. Budget to roll out starting today would end on September 21, with the bills expected to be passed on the final day of the session.
The White Paper released earlier, was welcomed by sect of politicians despite the opposition stood divided on this aspect.
