Chennai: In an effort to ease pain during a medical procedure, a doctor reportedly told a child watching 'Bigil' as he came to know that the patient is a big fan of actor Vijay. The surgeon played the Atlee directorial on a mobile phone and performed a medical procedure on the young patient revelled in the sporty movie.


Boy Met a tragic accident while on a fun ride


Sasivarshan, a 10-year-old boy from Mylapore, Chennai, accidentally fell from the bike while riding with his uncle, Aravind, and sustained serious injuries on his face and forehead.


Upon reaching the hospital, doctors tried to stitch the cuts on his forehead. But the needle scared off the boy leaving doctors unable to proceed with treatment.


The pacifier


Instantly, Jinnah, a volunteer who was on the night shift that day, played the role of pacifier asking the child about his likes in an attempt to divert his attention. During chatting with the child the chat went for a few minutes the doctors came to know that he is an avid fan of Thalapathy Vijay.


 Bigil Impact


Thereafter, the doctor streamed Vijay’s blockbuster movie Bigil on his cell phone and gave it to the boy. When the movie mesmerized the boy and he got indulged in the film, doctors treated him and put stitches on his forehead.

Thalapathy Vijay evidently has an enormous fans base in Tamil Nadu including as young children as 10-years-old. He is especially popular as a children's favorite actor.
