Tamil Nadu: A Tamil Nadu woman narrowly escaped death after being thrown from a moving bus in Namakkal, as the bus took a sharp turn.
Saradha has been admitted to Salem Government hospital after she sustained serious injuries after she fell and rolled onto the road, reported India Today.
The incident was caught on CCTV, where Saradha was seen wearing glasses and standing near the door of the bus. She had gone to Salem to buy clothes and was on her way back home by bus.
The video shows Saradha losing her balance and being thrown off the vehicle as the bus made a sharp turn. She was seen rolling down the road.
As soon as the other passengers saw what happened, they alerted the conductor, who informed the driver to stop the bus.
The passengers of the bus rushed down to help the woman who fell 20 feet away from the bus, reported India Today.
In a similar incident reported by The New Indian Express, in April a bus conductor sitting in the back seat of a Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) bus in Tiruchy fell out of the moving bus along with the seat. The conductor sustained minor injuries.
