Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin is set to fly to New Delhi on a two-day visit for meeting the national leaders on Tuesday. The Chief Minister is likely to visit President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and PM Narendra Modi.
In a tweet, ANI said, "Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin will arrive in Delhi today (on Tuesday) for a two-day visit."
"During his visit, he will call on President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 17," he said.

The CM will fly to New Delhi at 9.30 pm on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, the CM is expected to meet President Murmu and Vice President Dhankhar to congratulate them on taking office.
At 4.30 pm, TN CM will meet PM Modi and thank him for his participation in the 44th Chess Olympiad. Stalin is also expected to brief PM about the inaction of TN Governor Ravi on the Bills passed by Tamil Nadu Assembly. CM will fly back to Chennai on Wednesday night.

Earlier, CM Stalin was scheduled to visit New Delhi to meet PM Modi and invite him for the inauguration of Chess Olympiad. However, Stalin tested positive for coronavirus and was admitted to the hospital for treatment. Hence, Stalin invited PM to the global event only over the phone.
In April 2022, Stalin visited Delhi for the inauguration of DMK party office in the national capital and also visited government schools and mohalla clinics with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
