Tamil Nadu BJP delegation met ADGP and submitted their memorandum against Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin over the remark on 'Sanatan Dharma' on Tuesday. The state BJP accused the ruling government of not filing even a single FIR against Udhayanidhi despite receiving a flood of complaints against the DMK leader from across the state.
Tamil Nadu BJP State Vice President Paul Kanagaraj, said, "Though complaints were received by different police stations across Tamil Nadu...None of the complaints were entertained...The Minister delivered hate speech and therefore the complaints were not entertained. That is the reason we have assembled here and presented a memorandum on the instructions of our BJP leader Annamalai."
The BJP leader said that ADGP Arun received the memorandum and assured to take legal course of action.

On 'Sanatan Dharma' and Hindu religion remark by Udhayanidhi Stalin and A Raja respectively, AIADMK said that people who are supposed to uphold the law are taking the law into their own hands.
On Tuesday, AIADMK spokesperson Kovai Sathyan told ANI, "I can only pity the common man of Tamil Nadu. People who have taken oath under the Constitution are taking the law into their own hands. There is hate speech by the Minister of Sports Udayanidhi, the same is being endorsed by the Higher Education Minister and School Education Minister."
"MPs are out and openly calling out majority beliefs...People who are supposed to uphold the law are taking the law into their own hands. Those who follow the law, fall victim in the hands of this vendetta DMK," he said.
