Madurai Aadheenam's head priest Sri Harihara Desika Swamigal said that Narendra Modi should return as PM in 2024. It can be noted that the head priest would be handing over the 'Sengol' to PM Modi during the inauguration of the new building on Sunday. 


Talking to ANI, Sri Harihara Desika Swamigal said PM Modi got global appreciation and he is doing good things for people. 


"Again in 2024 he has to become PM and should guide people. We are all so proud as world leaders are appreciating our PM Modi, he said. 


He said that he would be meeting PM Modi and presenting the 'Sengol' to him at the inauguration of new Parliament building. 


The 'Sengol' was first received by the first PM Nehru on August 14, 1947 to symbolize the transfer of power during Independence Day. On May 28, the same spectre will be handed over to PM Modi by Madurai Aadheenam's head priest.

Earlier, 24th Gurumaha Sanethanam Sri Sri Ambalavanan Desika Paramacharya Swamigal talking to ABP Nadu said that all adheenams were flying to Delhi on Sunday and they are happy to give the Sengol to PM Modi.


Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers Expresses Gratitude to PM Modi


Vummidi Sudhakar, chairman of Vummidi Bangaru Jeweller said, "We are the makers of 'Sengol'. It took us a month's time to make it. It is made of silver and gold plated. I was 14 years when it was made..we are grateful to PM Modi."


The Prime Minister decided to adopt the 'Sengol' as Amrit Kaal. The sengol will be installed in Lok Sabha near the Speaker's podium. 


The great-grandson of C Rajagopalachari, CR Kesavan, hailed PM Modi over the decision to install the Sengol. CR Kesavan said that only a person with a profound understanding of India's civilisational heritage can ensure that the 'Sengol' is given its due place.
