In the wake of the highly anticipated release of "Leo" movie trailer on Thursday, actor Vijay's dedicated fan base once again made headlines, but this time for all the wrong reasons.  Fervent 'Thalapathy' enthusiasts were allegedly responsible for vandalizing seats at the Rohini Theatre in Chennai during a screening of the trailer. The incident unfolded as hundreds of 'Thalapathy' fans congregated outside the theater, eager to catch the trailer of this long-awaited film when it premiered at 6:30 PM on Thursday.

According to a report on News18, the fans allegedly went crazy during the screening and broke the seats and glass walls of the theatre.

A film industry tracker, Manobala Vijayabalan said, "Rohini Cinemas completely thrashed by Joseph Vijay fans after #LeoTrailer screening."

On the other hand, a netizen accused the cinema hall owner of badly organising the screening of the trailer.

The trailer released on Friday shows Vijay as a Kashmir-based family man who lives with his wife (Trisha) and daughter. However, he is hunted by criminals and his past haunts him. They beat him severely and set fire to his clothing. After taking a few blows, his deadly side emerges. The villain, played by Sanjay Dutt, has a menacing appearance, and a cameo is hinted at in the climactic scene.

Along with actor Vijay, Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, and Priya Anand play significant roles in the action thriller 'Leo'. Sanjay Dutt, a popular Bollywood actor, is also in the movie. Lokesh Kanagaraj, Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy wrote the script for the soon-to-releasing film. Manoj Paramahamsa and Philomin Raj, respectively, handled the film's cinematography and editing, and Anirudh Ravichander composed the score.

The movie 'Leo' will premiere on October 19. The film has already been censored with a U/A certificate by the film board.
