Chennai: Tamil Nadu police are set to continue quizzing VK Sasikala, an aide of former TN CM Jayalalithaa, at her residence in T Nagar in connection with Kodanad heist-cum-murder on Friday. The police on Thursday investigated the former interim general secretary of AIADMK Sasikala from 11 am at her residence in T Nagar and ended the questioning before 5 pm. 


Talking to media persons after the probe, Sasikala said, "From morning, I was asked multiple questions and I answered them all. The investigation is going to continue tomorrow (Friday) as well. So, I'll speak elaborately once the investigation is over." 


However, the police refused to comment about the investigation.

On Thursday, the probe was conducted by a team headed by IG (West Zone) R Sudhakar and police personnel were deployed outside her residence. 


There were also over 50 supporters of Sasikala waiting in front of her house.

Meanwhile, Sasikala was questioned about the documents and other valuables that went missing from the former CM's house and the details of the people employed in the house.


The case pertains to a gang of 11 people who broke into the bungalow owned by Jayalalithaa in Kodanad and murdered a guard Om Bahadur on April 23, 2017. Another guard Krishna Thapa was also assaulted. 


Soon after the heist, suspect Kanagaraj died in a road accident in Salem and another accused Sayan from Kerala met with an accident on the same day. He escaped with injuries but his wife and daughter were killed in the accident. The computer operator of the estate Dinesh Kumar was also found dead.
