The new video song from Dhanush's upcoming action-comedy 'Jagame Thandhiram' was released yesterday. With Santosh Nayaranan's composition and Dhanush's melodious effort, the song takes you to the streets of London where the actor roams around romancing his heroine Aishwarya Lekshmi. The film is produced by YNOT Studios and directed by Karthik Subbaraj.






The movie originally began in 2016 and Thenandal studio was supposed to be the producer of this film. However, the production didn’t take place and it was dropped for some reason. The film was re-launched in 2019 by YNOT Studios. Filming took place in Chennai, Madurai, and London and was completed by December 2019.


YNOT Studio has announced on its Twitter page that Dhanush's 'Jagame Thandhiram' will be released on Netflix on June 18. Following this, the film is said to be dubbed and released in 17 other languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English. It is noteworthy that this is the first time that a Tamil film released on the OTT platform has been dubbed into 17 different languages.




Reports came out earlier that the film would be released on OTT in May 2020 due to COVID -19, amid the anticipation of its theatrical release. Finally, Netflix is releasing it on its OTT site.


On June 18, YNOT Studio announced on its Twitter page that Dhanush's 'Jagame Thandhiram' will be released on Netflix. Following this, the film is said to be dubbed and released in 17 other languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English. It is noteworthy that this is the first time that a Tamil film released on the OTT platform has been dubbed into 17 different languages.




 


At the end of last year, the second song "Love You Pannu Bhujji" from the movie 'Jagame Thandhiram' was released and received a huge success. The film is set to release on Netflix in June due to the ongoing pandemic which irked Dhanush as they were desperately expecting this most anticipated movie in theaters, now left with no option other than watching it on the OTT platform
