It has been more than two years since former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh retired from international cricket.  At the moment, Yuvi often attracts the spotlight for his witty comments on social media. Wisden cricket on May 19 posted a Tweet via their official handle, with a picture of Yuvraj Singh, where they asked fans to name a cricketer who should have played more Test matches for a longer period in his cricketing career.


"Which former Indian cricketer do you wish played more Tests?” Wisden tweeted.

In response to this tweet, Yuvraj took a jibe at the Indian team management. 


“Probably next life! When I’m not 12th man for 7 years” he tweeted.



Yuvraj Singh, who was the star performer for team India in the limited-overs format, could never become a regular part of the Indian Test team.


Yuvraj Singh got the opportunity to play only 40 Test matches in his 17-year-long career. During this, he scored 1900 Test runs. Recently, Yuvraj was seen playing in the World Road Safety Series, in which he hit four sixes in an over.  As far as Yuvraj's test career is concerned, he scored 1900 runs at an average of 33.92 off the 40 Tests he played for the Indian team and scored three centuries and 11 half-centuries.


Yuvraj's highest score in Test cricket was 169 runs.  In this format, apart from hitting 260 fours and 22 sixes, he also took 31 catches.  Yuvraj Singh played 139 first class matches in his domestic career, in which he scored 8965 runs at an average of 44.16 and 26 centuries, 36 half-centuries. His best score was 260 runs.
