Chennai: Miscreants hurled a bottle filled with petrol at BJP office in Coimbatore on Friday. Following the incident, the BJP members raised a suspicion that it could be due to the raids held at Popular Front of India (PFI) offices across the country.

However, no one suffered any injuries.

Talking to ANI, Nandkumar, BJP worker said, “Petrol bomb thrown at our office, this is how terror attacks come, today raids (against PFI) took place at several places, it is the anniversary of Hindu Munnani leader & BJP National president too is in state.”

The NIA and ED conducted raids at PFI offices across India in one of the biggest crackdowns on terror funding. However, there is no clarity yet on the miscreants involved in the incident.
