Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has been admitted to Kauvery hospital here for 'investigations and observation for Covid related symptoms', said a bulletin released by the hospital at 12.20 PM on Thursday.


Earlier, on Tuesday took to his Twitter about he tested positive for Covid-19. He wrote, "I was feeling tired in the morning. So, I got tested for coronavirus. I have tested positive for the virus so I've isolated myself. Let us all wear masks, get vaccinated and let's stay safe."

  • Stalin's doctor said that the CM is positive with mild infection. But to rule out anything serious, he got admitted. "He is doing fine," said the doctor.

  • CM Stalin was normal till today morning but he had mild wheezing at around 8 AM. He got admitted to the hospital to check CT score and also to be under observation.

  • As per the hospital sources, he was wearing the PPE kit while he walked into the hospital on Thursday. Now he is stable and is undergoing a CT scan and other tests.

  • Soon the government released a health update about CM Stalin's condition.

  • After being tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday, the 69-year-old Stalin isolated himself in his residence. CMO's release said Stalin had complained of tiredness and fever, after which he was tested positive for Covid-19.
