In a warm reception, Annamalai expressed gratitude, stating that the newcomers bring valuable experience to the BJP and are eager to bolster Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership as he seeks a third consecutive term. Observing developments in Tamil Nadu, Annamalai subtly critiqued the ruling DMK and its main rival AIADMK.

Minister Chandrasekhar highlighted the significance of such a large-scale joining, underscoring Modi's popularity in Tamil Nadu, traditionally an alleged weak spot for the BJP. Pointing to Modi's ambitious electoral projections, Chandrasekhar predicted that a substantial portion of the BJP's anticipated victories, including those in Tamil Nadu, will contribute to Modi's envisioned landslide victory.

Noting that PM has projected that the BJP will win 370 seats in the Lok Sabha elections and the NDA will cross 400, Chandrasekhar claimed that many of these new seats will come from Tamil Nadu.

"It is clear that every citizen of India wants the transformation of the last 10 years to continue," he said, as per a report on PTI.
