Chennai: In an all-encompassing survey by ABP Nadu and CVoter on the governance of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin in the past 100 days, over 52 per cent of the respondents have said that the government’s functioning is excellent, while 7.7 per cent said that the functioning is poor.

The survey results released on Monday on ABP Nadu Youtube channel also surprisingly revealed that among the respondents, over 58 per cent of the people who voted for AIADMK and BJP find DMK’s governance as "excellent", while many Makkal Needhi Maiam party voters find the performance of DMK as poor.

The DMK, after being in the opposition for the past 10 years and witnessing the demise of party patriarch Kalaignar Karunanidhi, returned to power earier this year. Contesting the assembly elections under the leadership of MK Stalin for the first time, the party received a thumping victory.

Following this, there has been a popular opinion that DMK is showing a change in the style of governance, ushering in Dravidianism 2.0, and that the party holds on to the ideology despite challenges.

As the party completed 100 days in power on August 14, ABP Nadu joined hands with CVoter for a mega survey to understand the mood of the people on the functioning of the new government.

The ABP Nadu and CVoters conducted an extensive survey covering several districts of Tamil Nadu and questioned thousands of people on the 100 days' work by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and his ministers amid the pandemic.
