A fire broke out at a PVC door manufacturing company located in the Mohan Nagar Industrial Area of Ghaziabad on Sunday. Fire engines are currently at the scene, battling the blaze to prevent it from spreading to neighboring properties. There have been no reports of casualties or injuries at this time. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

Blazes In Maharashtra's Mumbai and Thane District


In another incident, a fire broke out at two commercial units in the western suburb of Sakinaka, Mumbai, on Saturday morning. There were no casualties reported in the incident. The blaze occurred around 9:40 am in a single-storey structure and an adjacent two-storey building near a bus stop on the Andheri-Kurla road, news agency PTI reported. Firefighters were able to douse the Level 1 category blaze after a five-hour operation. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.


 The fire destroyed electric wiring and installation, paper reels, machinery, stock of garments, sewing machines, and furniture on the premises, an official told PTI       


Additionally, a coach of an empty train caught fire at a railway yard in Maharashtra's Thane district in the early hours of Saturday. The incident occurred around 1:20 am in the train parked at the railway yard in Badlapur, PTI reported. Although the coach was destroyed in the fire, fortunately, there were no injuries reported.


The Central Railway has ordered a probe into the incident to determine the cause of the fire. Following the fire, overhead wires were switched off between Badlapur and Vangani stations, causing some disruption to late-night local train services, officials told PTI.
