For UP elections, Home Minister Amit Shah will be arriving in Lucknow on October 29. Amit Shah will hold a meeting with UP in-charge Radha Mohan Singh, election panel chief Dharmendra Pradhan and other senior party members.


The meeting will also discuss an internal survey of potential candidates. Based on the survey, the names of candidates will be announced. Amit Shah once again faces an uphill task in UP to create a roadmap for victory. Amit Shah has started working on how to achieve victory in UP.


Home Minister Amit Shah to visit Lucknow today


Amit Shah is arriving in Lucknow on October 29. He laid the foundation stone of the Vindhyachal Corridor Project in Mirzapur during his last visit.  For this tour, he plans to lead BJP to victory in the upcoming Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. The situation in UP has changed a lot in five years. The game of electoral politics and its rules have also changed.






In the last time election, people voted against the Akhilesh government and made BJP a winner by a big margin. This time the BJP has to seek votes based on their work and policies. The Hindutva agenda and social equation of castes are different matters. While Om Prakash Rajbhar has left the BJP, Sanjay Nishad has joined NDA.

  • Home Minister Amit Shah will arrive at the airport at 11 am.

  • At 11.30, Shah will reach Defense Expo Ground, Vrindavan, to launch the party's membership drive At the Defence Expo program, he will address Shakti Kendra in-charges of the Awadh region and flag off campaign vehicles.

  • At 1.30 pm, Shah will address senior party leaders and former MLAs at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. This will be followed by a meeting with senior leaders and office-bearers at the party's state headquarters at 3 pm. He will leave for Dehradun on October 30.
